PROGRAM

Teaching takes place in English and is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of archaeologists, historians, and urban specialists.

Classroom sessions introduce key themes such as Athenian architecture, democracy, funerary culture, and heritage management, while on-site visits to the Acropolis, Kerameikos, the Byzantine and Christian Museum, and the Museum of Islamic Art offer direct engagement with the material fabric of the city.

Field trips to Delphi, Sounion, Epidaurus, Mycenae, and Nafplion extend this experience beyond the capital, tracing Athens’ place within the wider landscape of Greek civilisation.
