About the Programme – Cyprus Branch

Starting in October 2026, BAAG Cyprus Branch offers a four-year (eight-semester) Bachelor’s degree in English, integrating the disciplines of archaeology, ancient history, and ancient Greek and Latin literature.

Core Structure & Highlights:

  • Interdisciplinary Curriculum: Engage with archaeological theory and practice, ancient historical landscapes, classical literature, and philology, rooted in a liberal arts tradition.
  • Hands-On Learning: Study beyond the classroom through field trips, site visits, museum seminars, and optional participation in excavation projects—paralleling the Athens-based on-site immersive model.
  • Academic Rigour: Build strong foundations in Ancient Greek, complemented by courses in history, archaeology, literature, religion, myth, and comparative studies including Roman literature.
