APPLICATION

Step 1: Start your application

Collect as many of the documents needed for the application, described in the next table, as you can. Notice that documents marked with an asterisk (*) are required

Senior high-school students

Documents required

who have already obtained a graduation diploma

• Passport* and National ID card

• Graduation diploma*, both in the original language and in English

• Final year academic transcript*, both in the original language and in English

• English language test results

• Short curriculum vitae*

• A brief personal statement*, to outline your reasons for wishing to enroll in the program as well as why you constitute a valid candidate

who are still studying

• Passport* and National ID card

• Statement of enrolment for the current year both in the original language and in English

• Current year’s most recent academic transcript*, both in the original language and in English

• English language test results

• Short curriculum vitae*

• A brief personal statement*, to outline your reasons for wishing to enroll in the program

Following your initial application, you will obtain an application ID.

The Admission Office will then:

  • check your credentials

  • assess your overall grade against the general 70% performance criterion

  • inform you about your eligibility for admission to the program and perhaps suggest additional steps you could take to meet the admission requirements

 

Step 2: Finalize your application

As soon as you have all the required documents in hand, you should finalize the application.

At this stage, you must have certified your original documents and their official translation into English.

You can do this,

  • either by having the Apostille attached to them, if your country is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.

 or

  • by having them notarized by a Notary Public (Notarial Certificates)

or

  • by having them attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs /or the Ministry of Education of the issuing country.

Subsequently, using you application ID you should upload

  • Your graduation diploma, both in the original language and in English, certified as described above.

  • Final year academic transcript, both in the original language and in English, certified as described above.

  • English language test results, if you had not provided them in the first step.

  • If you are a last year senior high school student, you might not have your diploma in hand yet. You will still receive an offer as described in step four, on condition that you will produce your certified diploma before you enroll. 

The Admissions Committee of the Program may hold a live online video interview with the candidate, as a final part of the application process. Further details are provided in later stages of the application process.

 

Step 3: Pay the tuition fees

Please follow the instructions to pay the first installment of 3000€ to the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

 

Step 4: Receive an unconditional offer

Or, as mentioned above, an offer on condition that you provide your senior high-school diploma before you enroll. You are now ready to apply for a student visa in your country.

 

Health insurance

You should have arranged for private health insurance, covering your stay in Greece during your studies before you can enroll in the program.
